Description:

Provectus is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to help companies adopt ML/AI and transform their operations.
The position is fully remote and available in multiple locations including Novi Sad, Warsaw, Belgrade, Czechia, Spain, and Greece.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java development and modern cloud-native architectures.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining scalable Spring Boot applications, managing databases, and ensuring code quality through automated testing.
The candidate will work closely with clients to gather requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

The candidate must have strong programming experience with Java 11 and Java 17.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is required for containerization and orchestration.
Proficiency with build tools such as Maven and Gradle is necessary.
Familiarity with database migration tools like Flyway is expected.
A solid understanding of serverless architectures and AWS services is essential.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Kibana, Grafana, and CloudWatch is required.
Proficiency in version control and CI/CD using GitLab and GitLab pipelines is necessary.
Exposure to ReactJS and modern front-end concepts is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
The candidate must have upper-intermediate or above English proficiency for direct client interaction.
Nice to have: Experience with OpenSearch, familiarity with EKS and IAM, and experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
