Remote Senior Java Engineer (AML Team) - EU Remote CET

Description:

• The Senior Java Engineer at SEON will design and build the REST API and related components to enhance existing systems.
• The AML team focuses on developing an anti-money laundering product suite, aiming to enhance the efficiency of collecting and managing data about individuals subject to various AML regulations.
• Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining server-side applications using Java Spring, delivering high-quality code with a focus on simplicity, performance, and scalability, developing database-related application features, consulting on software development and operation, supporting and suggesting improvements to the current codebase, ensuring produced code is secure, stable, and scalable, and providing expertise and suggesting best practices for the team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering with Java, Spring Boot, REST, and RDBMS.
• 2+ years of experience in AWS.
• Agile mindset with end-to-end responsibility.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in containerization (Docker), continuous integration and delivery, multithreading, thread safety, and event-driven architecture.
• Ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions, excellent problem-solving skills, and English language proficiency.
