Remote Senior Java Engineer (AML Team) - US Remote EST/CST

Description:

• The Senior Java Engineer at SEON will be responsible for designing and building the REST API and related components to enhance existing systems.
• The AML team focuses on developing an anti-money laundering product suite, aiming to improve the efficiency of collecting and managing data related to individuals subject to various AML regulations.
• The role involves continuously extracting data from over 300 sources and approximately 4,000 websites, utilizing advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools to minimize false positive results.
• Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining server-side applications using Java Spring, delivering high-quality code with a focus on simplicity, performance, and scalability, developing database-related features, and providing expertise to the team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering with Java, Spring Boot, REST, and RDBMS.
• 2+ years of experience in AWS.
• Agile mindset with end-to-end responsibility.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Docker, continuous integration and delivery, multithreading, thread safety, and event-driven architecture.
• Ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions, excellent problem-solving skills, and English language proficiency.
