Description:

Dreamix is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Java Engineer to join their team in the aviation industry.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions that ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency in critical aviation systems.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining integrations between various systems, building and optimizing Java-based backend solutions, utilizing Python for data processing, and developing efficient data pipelines with Polars.
The engineer will also design and optimize queries and database structures using MSSQL, work with Azure Blob Storage, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to document integration processes and ensure best practices are followed.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java, specifically with frameworks like Spring Boot or Quarkus.
Proven experience in integrating various systems using REST APIs, message brokers, or other integration technologies is required.
Experience with Python for scripting, automation, or data processing tasks is necessary.
Familiarity with Polars or other data processing frameworks for handling large datasets is expected.
Strong knowledge of MSSQL, including query optimization and database design best practices, is essential.
Experience with Azure Blob Storage for data management is an advantage.
Familiarity with Windmill for workflow automation or scripting is a plus.
Understanding of aviation systems, standards, and best practices is beneficial.
Candidates should possess the ability to troubleshoot and optimize integrations and backend services effectively.
Strong communication skills and experience working in agile teams are required.
