Description:

Binance is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the KYC Tech team, responsible for building and maintaining the KYC platform.
The role involves collaborating with relevant stakeholders to convert business requirements into services with solid code and meaningful tests.
The engineer will proactively initiate performance tuning and troubleshoot incidents as needed.
Responsibilities include writing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation.
The position requires writing high-quality code that follows best practices and advocating for engineering excellence.
The engineer will collaborate with other engineering teams and mentor junior members of the team.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience is required.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in building high-throughput distributed applications.
Proficiency in core Java and the Spring Framework is essential.
Candidates should be proficient in MySQL and familiar with at least one NoSQL database.
Proficiency in distributed system design is required, along with familiarity with at least one messaging middleware and the underlying design principles.
The ideal candidate should be a quick learner with the ability to perform under pressure.
Ability to collaborate with a remote team across different time zones is necessary.
