Description:
- The Senior Java Software Engineer position at HICX involves working with modern and scalable concepts based on leading-edge technologies.
- The role requires a minimum of 2 years of professional Java programming experience in application design, software development, and maintenance.
- Candidates should have a BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- A solid understanding of engineering best practices, object-oriented programming techniques, and scripting languages like Groovy is required.
- Knowledge of SQL, database systems (e.g., Postgresql, MySQL), web standards (HTML, JavaScript), and automated test practices is necessary.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, cloud provider technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), and CI/CD is important.
- Familiarity with development tools like Git, Maven, Eclipse, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Skills in system and architectural design for distributed systems, containers, orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), J2EE technologies, and BPMN frameworks are desirable.
- Candidates should have a passion for software engineering, innovation, and challenging the status quo.
