Remote Senior Java Software Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Java Software Engineer position at HICX involves working with modern and scalable concepts based on leading-edge technologies.
• The role requires a minimum of 2 years of professional Java programming experience in application design, software development, and maintenance.
• Candidates should have a BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential for this role.

• A solid understanding of engineering best practices and Object-Oriented Programming techniques is necessary.
• Knowledge of Scripting languages like Groovy, SQL, database systems (e.g., Postgresql, MySQL), web standards (HTML, JavaScript), and automated test practices is required.
• Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, Cloud provider technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), and working with Spring and/or Spring Boot is important.
• Desirable skills include CI/CD, Dev Ops, Git, Maven, Eclipse, Hibernate, Agile methodologies, Containers and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), J2EE Technologies, and front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React.
• The candidate should have a passion for Software Engineering, Innovation, and challenging the status quo.

Requirements:
