Human Direct is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an innovative company at the forefront of software security, compliance, and developer productivity.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of scalable event storage, processing, and retrieval systems.
You will collaborate with top-tier engineers to create tools such as APIs, browser extensions, IDE integrations, bots, and webhooks that help organizations and developers build secure and efficient software.
The tech stack includes Go, Kotlin/JVM, TypeScript, Svelte, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and Terraform, running on Google Cloud Platform.
This position is ideal for those passionate about distributed systems, event processing, and building high-performance software.

Requirements:

Must have 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong backend development experience in Java, Scala, or Kotlin is required.
Proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL is necessary.
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential.
A solid understanding of Linux/UNIX performance optimization is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience in designing scalable distributed systems are necessary.
Nice-to-have qualifications include a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in software engineering and data engineering is preferred.
Expertise in event pipeline development using Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Python is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of immutable data and search technologies is desirable.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins is beneficial.
