• Participation in the complete software development cycle, including design, coding, testing, and deploying to production, is expected.
• You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines through Gitlab and AWS to automate the deployment process and ensure continuous integration.
• Implementing microservices architecture to create modular and scalable components will be part of your responsibilities.
• You will utilize Openshift and Kubernetes to containerize applications for easy deployment and scalability.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application performance, reliability, and scalability will be required.
• Collaboration with the QA team to ensure high-quality software releases is essential.
• Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in Spring Boot, AI code generating tools, Gitlab, AWS, Amazon Q Developer, Microservices, and container technologies is expected.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in developing Spring Boot applications is necessary.
• Over 5 years of expertise in the Java Spring Boot framework and Microservices is required.
• Proficiency in using Gitlab DevOps for building, deploying, and monitoring applications in a cloud environment is essential.
• Strong command of Postman and solid proficiency with Swagger are required.
• An in-depth understanding of agile development methodologies, such as user stories, backlogs, and scrum, is necessary.
• Experience with containerization technologies, especially Openshift and Kubernetes, is required, with familiarity with container orchestration platforms being a bonus.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS is preferred.
• A robust grasp of software development best practices, including version control, unit testing, code reviews, and comprehensive documentation, is necessary.
• Previous experience with Jira agile development and collaborative tools is required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with keen attention to detail, are essential.
• Outstanding communication abilities and a talent for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders are necessary.
• Practical experience in Microservices concepts and a solid foundation in high-quality software architecture and design principles are required.
• Knowledge in Spring Boot, RestFul / Web Services, XML, REST, SOAP, and JSON technologies is essential.
• Strong skills in database design, including SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization, are required.
• Experience with projects of varying sizes across different industries is necessary.
