The position is for a Senior Java Support Engineer at Flexspring, a leader in data integration for HR applications.
The role involves troubleshooting and resolving production issues in customer integrations built on Java, Groovy, and REST APIs.
The engineer will communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients, maintaining transparency throughout the case lifecycle.
Responsibilities include documenting troubleshooting activities, collaborating with technical consultants and support teams, participating in QA activities, identifying process gaps, and being part of on-call support rotations.

Requirements:

A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, Groovy, REST APIs, SOAP, GraphQL, Postman, and Insomnia.
Familiarity with log management tools like Kibana or Sumologic is necessary.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities in both technical and business contexts are essential.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines is required.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are a must.
Experience working with service desk tools and handling client support tickets is necessary.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
