The company, AnswersNow, is a rapidly growing digital health company that provides virtual autism care to families.
They are seeking a Senior JavaScript Full-Stack Engineer to join their fully-distributed, remote team.
The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining features for the client-facing web application using React, React Redux with Sagas, Node.js, and Docker in an AWS ECS stack.
The role involves working with an agile team, participating in PR reviews, technical discussions, and requirement elaboration activities.
The engineer will collaborate with other developers, provide occasional production support, and contribute work on UI, API, and DB tiers.
The ideal candidate should thrive in an early-stage environment, be unafraid to ask questions, experiment with new approaches, and have strong communication skills.
Requirements include expertise in building web products, experience with relational databases, cloud-based development, technical leadership, and a passion for solving challenging problems.

Requirements:

Deep expertise in building web products with one of the major application languages (Javascript, Python, Go)
Experience in relational databases such as PostGres
Currently proficient or having an active interest in cloud-based development
Strong written and verbal communication skills, for both technical and non-technical audiences
5+ years of experience working in a full-stack or API engineering role
Experience in technical leadership of an engineering team is a bonus
Strong foundation in programming, algorithms, and software application design
Passion for solving challenging problems and iterating quickly
Previous start-up experience is a definite plus
