Description:
- Design and develop runtime features for Azul Prime VM
- Triage complex customer problems and develop fixes for Azul Prime VM
- Implement new features in domains like cross-thread coordination, stack management, garbage collection, and object locking to enhance application metrics and JVM efficiency
- Develop tests to showcase improvements from new features or reproduce predicted issues
Requirements:
- Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Java
- Strong skills in concurrent programming
- Experience in debugging native and managed code
- Ability to design and implement diagnostic, profiling, and debugging tools for JVM
- Understanding of OS internals, especially Linux and/or Mac OS
- Familiarity with basic Computer Science concepts like data structures and algorithms
- BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proficiency in JVM internals is a strong advantage
