Description:

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain scalable Kafka-based messaging solutions and microservices applications at ProArch.
  • Set up and configure Kafka clusters, including brokers, zookeepers, and other components.
  • Implement best practices for Kafka configuration, management, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow, scalability, and reliability of the Kafka ecosystem.
  • Develop and deliver POCs with hands-on experience.
  • Integrate Kafka with existing systems and applications, ensuring real-time processing.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in Kafka and related technologies.
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Utilize cloud platforms like AWS, containerization technologies like Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Apache Pulsar, or Apache Flink, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in software development focusing on distributed systems and data streaming technologies.
  • Proven experience in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting Kafka clusters in production environments using AWS MSK or Confluent Kafka platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Kafka architecture, brokers, zookeepers, producers, consumers, and Kafka Streams.
  • Experience with Schema registries like AWS Glue or Avro, Connector ecosystem, Postgres, and its datatypes.
  • Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python, designing, building, deploying, and maintaining enterprise cloud solutions in AWS.
  • Demonstrable experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, web services, JUnit, Mockito, and Karate testing framework.
  • Familiarity with Git, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
