Description:

  • The Senior Kernel Developer will work on the KernelCare team, focusing on developing Linux Kernels and patches with a cybersecurity emphasis.
  • Responsibilities include supporting existing functionality, implementing new features, updating kernels with security fixes and CVE patches, and developing Python and Bash scripts for task automation.
  • This role does not involve embedded Kernel development.

Requirements:

  • Excellent C programming and debugging skills are required.
  • Good knowledge of Linux kernel core subsystems, CPU and cache architectures, GDB, CPU performance and power analysis.
  • Proficiency in Git for development and patch/branch management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, time management, decision-making, and organization skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with Python, Shell scripting, and Jenkins.
  • Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
