Description:

• We are looking for a Senior Laravel Engineer who can quickly learn our codebase and work collaboratively with our team to develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• The ideal candidate should be a versatile programmer who is not afraid to go beyond the typical software development role, leveraging intelligence and experience to provide solutions across all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Responsibilities include working with other senior engineers to develop solutions from idea to implementation, tracking and managing progress, risks, and dependencies.
• The engineer will architect future-proof solutions to support growing business needs while thoroughly considering the system impact.
• The role involves gathering and refining requirements, shipping software in a timely fashion, and maintaining a balance between speed and efficiency.
• The position requires 90% hands-on development and performing other duties as required by management.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on programming experience with Laravel and PHP, with deep expertise in building and maintaining complex Laravel applications and a strong grasp of PHP 8.x features.
• Candidates must have a passion for Laravel, appreciating its simplicity, elegance, and power.
• A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel's entire ecosystem, including proficiency in Eloquent, queues, events, middleware, and a solid understanding of Laravel's architecture and conventions.
• At least 3+ years of experience with the TALL (Tailwind/Alpine/Laravel/Livewire) stack, including extensive experience with TailwindCSS, Alpine.js, and Livewire.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience with FilamentPHP, including the ability to build with Filament Forms, Tables, and the Panel Builder.
• At least 3+ years of experience with MySQL and Redis, including proficiency in designing and optimizing MySQL databases and writing efficient queries.
• Familiarity with deploying, managing, and scaling Laravel applications on AWS, with experience in AWS Lambda, SQS, S3, EC2, and other services being a huge plus.
• Extensive knowledge of software development, QA methodologies, and release process patterns, including mastery of automated testing in Laravel using Pest and Dusk.
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture, including expertise in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with version control tools (Git) and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable code with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Laravel applications for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, clear technical documentation, and effective communication of complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Cloudflare, Laravel Octane, ClickHouse, Kubernetes, and static analysis tools like PHPStan is a huge plus.
