Description:
- Join Jackpocket’s Fulfillment Tech Team to help scale fulfillment systems for new products and markets
- Collaborate with developers, SRE, and product team to ensure system stability and scalability
- Document operations policies for troubleshooting and participate in system architectural evolution
- Profile systems for bottlenecks and forecast capacity, provide support for live systems
- Own scoping and execution of major features from start to finish
Requirements:
- 7-8+ years experience as a Software Engineer with highly scalable systems
- Proficiency in Elixir, full lifecycle design, development, testing, and deployment
- Hands-on experience with event-driven systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Proficiency with Liveview, SQL, and RDBMs such as Postgres
- Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and building resilient systems
- Knowledge of functional programming and architectural design principles
- Ability to diagnose live systems and trace errors
Benefits:
- Competitive base compensation range of $170,000-$185,000
- Full-time exempt position with no eligibility for overtime under FLSA requirements
