Description:
Dandy is transforming the dental industry by integrating and simplifying every function of dental practices through technology.
The company has built a leading digital-first custom dental appliance manufacturer and is expanding its Machine Learning & Computer Vision team.
The team will enhance Dandy's 3D dental platform and automate human-driven processes in manufacturing.
Responsibilities include building computer vision models to extract structure from unstructured 3D scans and researching state-of-the-art methods for 3D generative AI tasks.
The role involves collaborating with product and research teams to identify improvement opportunities and working with massive datasets to develop and fine-tune models.
The engineer will develop evaluation methods to establish confidence in datasets and models and implement best practices for MLOps pipelines.
The position requires close collaboration with product owners to deliver value quickly to customers.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in machine learning.
Extensive experience in Python is required.
Experience with 2D deep learning is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in 3D geometric computer vision.
Experience with 3D deep learning is preferred.
Proficiency in Pytorch is required.
Candidates must have immaculate attention to detail and take pride in delivering excellent code and results.
