Description:
SupportLogic SXâ„¢ is a platform that enhances customer service experience using natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML).
The platform integrates with existing ticketing systems to analyze comments in tickets, extracting key signals related to customer sentiment and churn.
The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will work on creating and leveraging advanced ML models, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs).
Responsibilities include maximizing the value of SupportLogic through ML performance, ensuring consistent model performance in production, and collaborating with various teams to enhance user experience.
The role requires improving ML organization efficiency to boost customer confidence in predictions and expedite the training and rollout of new ML models.
Key tasks involve increasing the velocity of ML model deployment, validating model rollouts, measuring prediction accuracy, automating model retraining, and building internal tools to enhance productivity.
The position is suited for self-starters who are comfortable with new technologies and processes in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
A self-starter with a passion for contributing in a fast-paced startup environment is essential.
Technical leadership experience to help drive the ML direction and vision of the team is required.
A B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is necessary.
Professional experience as a full-time machine learning engineer is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in building ML products is needed.
At least 3 years of experience using Large Language Models in production is essential.
Strong proficiency in software development and system design is required.
Fluency in Python is mandatory.
Experience with common Python data science libraries such as PyTorch, HuggingFace, Pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn is necessary.
Familiarity with the lifecycle of model training, evaluation, and deployment is required.
Experience using SQL is essential.
