Description:

Loka, a globally distributed tech consultancy based in Silicon Valley, is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their team.
The role involves designing and implementing machine learning solutions across various projects, focusing on ML algorithms, DL, and Foundation Models.
The engineer will work on developing robust, scalable systems and continuously improving them over time.
Responsibilities include understanding business objectives, wrangling and visualizing data, analyzing model errors, deploying and maintaining ML models, and staying updated with industry trends.
The position also entails leading client communications, mentoring junior colleagues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing models for performance and cost-effectiveness.
The engineer will report to ML leads and follow Loka's career track for growth by demonstrating technical excellence, innovation, autonomy, ownership, communication, and teamwork.

4+ years of ML engineering experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field are required.
Excellent English proficiency is a must.
Experience with Python, ML libraries, and AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch, HuggingFace, and TensorFlow is necessary.
Familiarity with building GenAI solutions using LLMs, client-facing experience, and knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools are essential.
Additional requirements include a clean criminal record and submitting a CV in English.
