Description:

Kueski is a leading platform for buy now, pay later (BNPL) and online consumer credit in Latin America, aiming to improve the financial lives of people in Mexico.
The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for building scalable infrastructure that supports machine learning solutions for real-time risk assessments, resource optimization, and personalized customer offers.
Key responsibilities include designing and building scalable data preparation pipelines, creating automated and reliable machine learning pipelines for safe model deployment, and guiding junior engineers in MLOps best practices.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and integrate ML solutions, implementing robust monitoring tools to ensure model performance in production, and developing tools for real-time and batch model deployment.
Additional tasks include building and automating pipelines for serving and updating ML features, implementing QA processes for models and pipelines, fostering MLOps practices, creating APIs for serving machine learning models at scale, and occasionally assisting in the deployment of new models or implementing decision logic for ML solutions.

Requirements:

Proven experience in building scalable ML pipelines for production environments is required.
Strong software engineering and distributed computing experience (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is necessary.
Solid knowledge of ML engineering technologies and data science tools such as Pandas and Scikit-learn is essential.
Experience with SQL, Unix-based systems, and cloud technologies is required.
The ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers, engineers, and other stakeholders is necessary.
Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
Experience with AWS technologies and streaming frameworks is desirable.
