Remote Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Description:

• Perceptyx is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to join their remote team.
• The role involves collaborating with a skilled group of engineers and data scientists to enhance ML models and drive AI-powered innovation.
• Responsibilities include developing, fine-tuning, and deploying NLP models for sentiment analysis and text classification, as well as building scalable ML pipelines using AWS.
• The engineer will prototype and document models using JupyterHub/Notebooks, apply MLOps best practices, and manage containerized ML models using Docker and Kubernetes.
• The position requires collaboration with data engineers, software engineers, and product teams to integrate ML solutions and contribute to Agile development.
• The engineer will maintain technical documentation, share expertise through client consultations and knowledge-sharing initiatives, and expand professional knowledge by attending industry events.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in Machine Learning and NLP, focusing on production-grade systems.
• A BA/BS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related field is required; MA/MS/PhD is preferred.
• Strong technical skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Hugging Face) and hands-on experience with LLMs are essential.
• Proficiency in SQL for large-scale datasets and expertise in AWS for scalable ML training and deployment are required.
• Candidates should have strong MLOps knowledge, experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and familiarity with distributed computing frameworks.
• Soft skills include honesty, integrity, an autonomous mindset, solid communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
