Description:

Warner Music Group is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their engineering team in Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY, with remote work options available.
The role involves building cutting-edge inference systems to understand music consumption and provide actionable insights for business growth.
Responsibilities include developing a strong understanding of business problems, collaborating with Data Scientists and engineering leadership to define and launch ML systems, contributing to model building and evaluation, ensuring efficient and reliable modeling experiments, mentoring junior team members, and working with cross-functional partners to define project objectives.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of full-time hands-on experience in building scaled ML systems or equivalent experience.
Excellent coding and system design skills are required, along with strong practical ML knowledge and an understanding of ML theory.
A high sense of ownership and the ability to deliver impact in a fast-paced, evolving environment is essential.
Candidates should be able to collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers.
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence roadmaps and ML strategy are necessary.
Experience with cloud computing services, preferably AWS, is required.
Familiarity with Snowflake and Databricks is a plus.
A Bachelor’s Degree or above in a quantitative field is required.

The salary range for this position is $156,000 - $206,000 per year, with actual pay dependent on work experience and business needs.
