Description:
Bloomreach is seeking a seasoned Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement AI and GenAI driven algorithmic components for search, recommendation, and behavioral insights.
The role involves working with a centralized data science team responsible for data science modules that power all company products, including Search Relevance and User Personalization.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and enhancing ML/AI models, processing historical data, conducting research on cutting-edge ML techniques, and collaborating with Data Engineers and Senior Data Scientists.
The position offers a salary starting at β¬3,800 gross per month, along with restricted stock units and other benefits.
Employees have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the CEE region on a full-time basis.
Requirements:
A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with a strong mathematical foundation and excellent programming skills, primarily in Python.
5-8 years of experience building ML-driven fast and scalable ML/analytical algorithms in a corporate or startup environment.
Strong awareness of recent trends in Generative AI and LLMs, with experience in working with the GenAI stack considered a strong credential.
A solid understanding of various machine learning and natural language processing technologies, including classification, information retrieval, and ranking.
Excellent exploratory data analysis skills with the ability to manipulate data at scale using SQL in Redshift/BigQuery.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to newer ML technologies.
Exposure to deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Keras, or TensorFlow, and techniques like RNN/LSTM and Transformers.
Experience working with Big Data in a cloud-based production environment (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
