Description:

MNTN is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their ML Squad.
The role involves ideating, training, testing, deploying, evaluating, and monitoring matching systems in a large-scale production environment to maximize advertiser goals while respecting consumer privacy.
The engineer will work closely with data science, software engineers, product managers, infrastructure teams, and data teams.
Responsibilities include using proprietary and third-party data sources to lead machine learning projects, building necessary software and infrastructure components, and becoming an expert in matching ad opportunities to potential audiences.
The engineer will identify opportunities and gaps in data and insights for stakeholders, collaborate with product and engineering teams to evaluate model designs, lead discussions with technical and non-technical functions, and investigate critical incidents related to data ambiguity.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in developing and using machine learning models on large-scale data, with advanced degrees in relevant fields potentially substituting for some experience.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, R, or similar programming languages is required.
Experience with machine learning libraries and platforms such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, SageMaker, or similar is necessary.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to convey complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
