Datatonic is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their team, which is a premier partner of Google Cloud in AI.
The role involves engineering high-quality code in Python and advocating for best practices in production software and rapid prototypes.
Candidates should have a desire to lead projects and engage in client discussions, building trusted relationships and scoping projects.
Responsibilities include interpreting vague requirements, conducting ML experiments, leveraging generative AI, optimizing machine learning solutions, implementing custom code, ensuring efficient data flow, automating ML workflows, designing ML architectures, and building production-grade software.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, preferably with a consulting background.
Proficiency in Python is required, with the ability to deliver production-ready code in well-tested CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure is necessary.
Hands-on experience with foundational software engineering practices is expected.
Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data is required.
Experience in scaling computations using GPUs or distributed computing systems is essential.
Familiarity with exposing machine learning components through web services or wrappers, such as Flask in Python, is preferred.
Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary to effectively convey technical concepts.
