Description:
The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will be part of the SupportLogic Machine Learning (ML) team, focusing on creating and leveraging cutting-edge ML models, especially Large Language Models (LLMs).
Responsibilities include maximizing the value of SupportLogic to customers by advancing ML performance and Intellectual Property (IP), ensuring consistent and improving performance of ML models in production environments, and collaborating with product design and customer-facing teams to extract maximum utility from predictions.
The role involves increasing ML organization efficiency to enhance customer confidence in ML predictions and the ability to train and roll out new ML models efficiently.
The position requires working in a fast-moving and growing company, being self-starting, and comfortable with learning and using new technologies and processes.
Requirements:
A self-starter with a passion for contributing in a fast-paced startup environment.
Provide technical leadership and drive the team’s ML direction and vision.
Hold a B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar field.
Have professional experience as a full-time machine learning engineer.
Possess 5+ years of experience building ML products and 3+ years of experience using Large Language Models in production.
Strong proficiency in software development and system design, fluent in Python, and experienced with common Python data science libraries.
Experienced with the lifecycle of model training, evaluation, and deployment, as well as using SQL.
