The role of Senior Machine Learning Engineer involves deploying ML and AI models into production, handling the full lifecycle from research and model building to deployment and scaling.
Responsibilities include developing and deploying machine learning models, owning the end-to-end ML pipeline, designing robust algorithms, ensuring model accuracy and reliability, and building real-time prediction models.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in building, deploying, and scaling machine learning models in production environments.
Experience in deploying Generative AI models in production, with knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, and prompt engineering techniques is essential.
Proven experience with the full product lifecycle, from R&D to deployment in fast-paced environments is necessary.
Experience in a product-based company, preferably within a startup environment, is preferred.
Strong expertise in Python and SQL, along with experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is required.
Familiarity with real-time data processing, anomaly detection, and time-series forecasting in production is important.
Experience with large datasets and big data technologies like Spark and Kafka is needed to build scalable solutions.
Candidates should possess first-principles thinking and excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.
A self-starter mentality and the ability to take ownership of projects from end to end is essential.
Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-obsessed mindset are required.
