Description:
Truelogic is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to work remotely from anywhere in LATAM.
The role involves working in a forward-thinking environment at a specialty financial services firm focused on U.S. mortgage loans and related investments.
The engineer will lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions within the Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) service.
Responsibilities include utilizing AWS Bedrock to build and optimize models for document classification, information extraction, and processing.
The position requires expertise in machine learning algorithms, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, AWS cloud technologies, and MLOps practices.
The engineer will also manage cloud infrastructure, collaborate with data engineers, provide technical leadership, and stay updated on advancements in AI/ML and related technologies.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5-7 years of experience in data engineering and 3-5 years in software development.
Deep experience with Snowflake and Stored Procedures is required.
Extensive experience with Python and modern web frameworks is necessary.
Experience with queueing systems such as Celery, SQS, or Pub/Sub is essential.
Expert-level knowledge of Python 3, Object-Oriented Code, and Design Patterns is required.
Strong experience with Python frameworks like Fast API, Flask, or Django is needed.
Candidates should have strong experience with REST APIs, Git, and writing unit tests.
Experience with at least one other modern language in a production application, preferably Typescript, is required.
Familiarity with Event Driven Systems and Microservices is necessary.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and serverless architecture is essential.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Cloudformation & CDK) is required.
Candidates should have knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Automated Pipelines).
Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Jira is preferred.
Financial services experience, particularly in the mortgage industry, is a plus.
