Description:

  • OpenX is seeking a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer IV to contribute to impactful R&D projects, focusing on building and maintaining machine learning pipelines.
  • The role involves engineering solutions and collaborating with the OpenX Data Science team to optimize and advance the ML platform by providing robust infrastructure and support.
  • The candidate will identify and eliminate unnecessary complexity to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Responsibilities include analyzing and enhancing the efficiency, scalability, and stability of machine learning model training pipelines.
  • The engineer will develop, maintain, and monitor the infrastructure responsible for training ML models by automating pipeline-related tasks and creating alerts.
  • Continuous enhancement of the ML platform by integrating feature stores, model repositories, data versioning, and skew detection capabilities is expected.
  • The role requires optimizing models by profiling and analyzing performance bottlenecks and applying faster computational graph operations.
  • Collaboration with team members to deploy, manage, and integrate machine learning models is essential.
  • The position operates on a 100% Cloud-based (GCP) platform, handling over 400 billion ad requests daily and managing significant data volumes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • Extensive expertise in Python programming and software engineering best practices is necessary.
  • Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch is essential.
  • Familiarity with basic SQL for querying and data manipulation is required.
  • Hands-on knowledge of ML pipelines, particularly Kubeflow Pipelines, is necessary.
  • A basic understanding of machine learning techniques to comprehend and utilize models developed by data scientists is required.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform's Vertex AI, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English are mandatory.
  • A willingness to learn new tools and create proof-of-concept implementations is expected.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds are essential.

  • The position offers an employment contract with a salary range of 25,100 - 29,500 PLN gross/monthly or a B2B option at 191 - 225 PLN net/hourly.
