The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will work with a dedicated team of engineers to connect creators with users through recommendation algorithms.
Responsibilities include designing, building, evaluating, shipping, and refining personalization products through hands-on machine learning development.
The role involves collaboration with a cross-functional agile team, including user research, design, data science, product management, and engineering to create new product features.
The engineer will prototype new approaches and scale solutions for hundreds of millions of active users.
The position promotes best practices in machine learning systems development, testing, and evaluation within the team and the organization.

Requirements:
A strong background in machine learning with practical experience in applying theory to real-world applications is essential.
Expertise in bandit algorithms, large language models (LLMs), general neural networks, or other methods relevant to recommendation systems is required.
Hands-on experience in implementing production machine learning systems at scale using Java, Scala, Python, or similar languages is necessary.
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is a strong plus.
Experience with large-scale, distributed data processing frameworks/tools like Apache Beam or Apache Spark is preferred.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is beneficial.
