EFG (ESL FACEIT Group) is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their ML Ops Team, which focuses on designing, building, and evolving a world-class ML Ops platform.
The role involves serving as a tech leader, understanding customer needs, and fostering the adoption of the data platform among stakeholders.
Responsibilities include contributing to the technical strategy, ensuring high standards in documentation, testing, and code quality, and driving efficiencies in code and infrastructure.
The engineer will write reusable and documented code, decompose complex problems, and construct architectures that integrate multiple services and SaaS tools, particularly in a GCP environment.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience in building robust, scalable, and reproducible ML workflows, including implementing CI/CD pipelines for ML systems.
Proficiency in deploying and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform, and provisioning ML workloads on GCP and Kubernetes is required.
Experience in architecting mature ML systems that deliver business value and leading technical design for system improvements is essential.
Candidates should have a strong background in machine learning, including building and maintaining models in PyTorch and integrating LLMs into production systems.
Hands-on experience with the full lifecycle of ML, including building resilient batch pipelines and using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and FastAPI is necessary.
Previous experience in tech leadership and interaction with a diverse range of stakeholders is important.
