Description:
Vivun is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to drive the design, development, and evolution of AI/ML solutions.
The role involves building and scaling AI-driven solutions that enhance the capabilities of Vivun’s AI Sales Engineer, Ava.
Responsibilities include designing LLM-powered AI solutions, overseeing deployment and monitoring of machine learning systems, and optimizing inference for real-time and batch processing.
The engineer will evaluate models and agents, maintain production observability tools, and contribute to scalable data and ML infrastructure.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to align AI development with business needs.
The position requires adaptability in a dynamic agentic/LLM development space and adherence to security standards and data governance best practices.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in building, deploying, and operating reliable data and ML systems in production environments.
A BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Strong proficiency in writing maintainable, production-quality Python code is essential.
Deep knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, including clustering, supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, and LLMs is necessary.
Extensive hands-on experience with SQL and databases is required.
Experience with AI/ML observability, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks is needed.
Advanced understanding of CI/CD pipelines and API development best practices is required.
Proven experience in mentoring engineering teams and driving complex projects in dynamic environments is essential.
Familiarity with tools and technologies such as LangChain, scikit-learn, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and others is preferred.
