Launch Potato is a digital media company focused on connecting advertisers to customers throughout the consumer journey.
The Senior Machine Learning Researcher role is primarily focused on building machine learning models and is not an engineering/data engineering position.
Candidates must have experience in the performance marketing/lead generation industries, specifically in designing, implementing, optimizing, and testing end-to-end Multi-Armed Bandit (MAB) and recommendation systems.
The position requires at least 4 years of hands-on experience in a data science role.
Responsibilities include developing deep personalization models and complex optimization algorithms to enhance customer experiences and drive revenue.
The role involves strategic planning of Machine Learning initiatives in collaboration with Product, Engineering, Performance, and Business Intelligence teams.
Success in this role includes innovating ML solutions for various business problems, improving model infrastructure, and providing data science support throughout project stages.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of related work experience in Data Science and Machine Learning is required.
At least 2 years of experience in the Marketing/Advertising industry is necessary.
A solid background in Machine Learning and Statistics is essential.
Professional experience in designing and implementing Multi-Armed Bandit (MAB) solutions and recommendation systems is required.
Proficiency in SQL and Python, along with experience using data science tools such as git, Kubernetes, and Docker, is necessary.
Candidates should be able to structure and clarify ambiguity for the team and coordinate implementation across multiple teams.
Experience creating ML solutions within cloud services (AWS/GCP) is required.
Familiarity with the ML model development lifecycle and data visualization tools (preferably Looker) is necessary.
Experience managing a team of data scientists and machine learning researchers is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.
