Description:
- Join the dedicated Softeta team working on the Cards core platform for one of the biggest banks in Germany.
- Contribute to mainframe software solutions ensuring quality, scalability, performance, and reusability.
- Maintain good code quality and standards, including performing code reviews.
- Collaborate in a team to transform user stories into functional applications.
- Assist in driving change in a virtual organization following agile methodologies.
- Utilize technologies such as Cobol, DB2/SQL, JCL, IDz.
Requirements:
- Must have 5+ years of proven experience in software development with COBOL.
- Understanding of mainframe applications and familiarity with associated challenges.
- Skilled in best development practices including unit testing and code reviews.
- Strong sense of ownership.
- Knowledge of securities transactions settlement process.
- Good understanding of financial markets and instruments.
- Business fluent German and advanced (B1-B2) English level required.
