Remote Senior Manager, Data Visualization

Description:

• The Senior Manager, Data Visualization will lead a team of more than six data visualizers within the Client Services BI & Analytics team.
• Responsibilities include building medium-to-high complexity dashboard projects, ensuring data quality, developing dashboards using Agile principles, providing production support on Tableau Server, and communicating with stakeholders.
• The role focuses on creating visually appealing dashboards that tell compelling stories to internal and external customers.
• This is a remote position allowing flexibility in work location.
• The position requires collaboration with Data Engineers and Solution Designers to develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using industry-standard tools or custom visuals.

Requirements:

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree, or 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree, or 2 years of experience with a PhD.
• Experience in data visualization software like Tableau, QlikView, or PowerBI.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Strong data visualization portfolio demonstrating design to solve customer needs.
• Advanced experience with visualization software, preferably Tableau.
• Knowledge of interactive data visualization best practices.
• Experience leading design discovery meetings with end-users.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Foundational knowledge of probability and statistics.
• Ability to work in an Agile or fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, oral, and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to collaborate in a diverse, matrixed environment.
