Description:
Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure solutions using services like EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, VPC, Glue, SQS, Lambda, and Service Catalog.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and enhance the software development lifecycle.
Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and security in the AWS environment.
Implement best practices in infrastructure as code, configuration management, and monitoring.
Manage incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production issues.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies for continuous improvement and innovation.
Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations and processes.
Conduct proactive capacity planning and performance tuning for optimal resource utilization.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
Strong expertise in AWS services and architecture, with relevant certifications highly desirable.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm, Jenkins).
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive issue resolution approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-team collaboration.
