Description:

  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure solutions using services like EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, VPC, Glue, SQS, Lambda, and Service Catalog.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and enhance the software development lifecycle.
  • Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and security in the AWS environment.
  • Implement best practices in infrastructure as code, configuration management, and monitoring.
  • Manage incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technologies for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations and processes.
  • Conduct proactive capacity planning and performance tuning for optimal resource utilization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services and architecture, with relevant certifications highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm, Jenkins).
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive issue resolution approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-team collaboration.
