Description:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex software systems, ensuring high technical standards and fostering innovation.
  • Mentor and develop a team of engineers, providing guidance, conducting code reviews, and facilitating continuous learning opportunities.
  • Plan, manage, and deliver engineering projects on time and within scope, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Implement rigorous testing and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of software reliability and performance.
  • Utilize data-driven metrics to analyze and improve engineering processes, enhancing productivity and code quality.
  • Drive technological innovation by exploring and integrating new tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives and product roadmaps.
  • Effectively manage engineering resources, balancing workloads and setting priorities to optimize team performance.
  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of production systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading in-person, hybrid, and remote teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain highly-available componentized systems.
  • Proficiency in React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js, PHP.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with Postgres, MySQL, Databricks, or Snowflake.
  • Experience in scaling test-driven development in either a traditional or automated fashion (GitHub Copilot experience is a plus).
  • Led the design and deployment of an end to end CI/CD process.
  • Strong adherence to Engineering KPIs and leveraging data for continuous system and process improvement.
  • Proven track record of implementing a transparent employee feedback model.
