Description:

The Senior Manual Tester Engineer will be responsible for assisting with test planning, design, and execution of web-based applications and REST APIs.
The role involves browser usability testing, API testing, database testing, and data quality validation.
Responsibilities include driving a quality mindset throughout Development, QA, and Product teams, providing input on realistic test scenarios, coaching and mentoring developers, developing and maintaining detailed test cases, conducting exploratory testing, and creating and tracking defects.
The position also involves working closely with development and product teams, analyzing test results, conducting peer reviews of test plans and cases, mentoring team members, and promoting existing SDLC processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring abilities.
Extensive test and troubleshooting experience in web and backend application environments, with a good understanding of product delivery life cycles.
Strong analytical skills and experience with Postman for API testing, JIRA, SQL, and web technologies such as JavaScript, Web Services, APIs, REST, JSON, XML, etc.
Experience with build and test tools like Jenkins, Groovy, Maven, testNG Selenium Webdriver, and JMeter is a plus.
Ability to query backend systems, multitask, work in a changing environment on multiple teams, collaborate with distributed teams, and work independently.
