Automattic is seeking a Marketing Data Engineer to join their Growth Infra team, focusing on building an internal marketing automation platform.

Requirements:

Candidates must have proven experience in designing and maintaining ETL pipelines using tools like Meltano, Fivetran, or Airflow.
Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced concepts such as window functions and Common Table Expressions (CTEs), is required.
Experience with data validation and ensuring high data quality in complex workflows is necessary.
A solid understanding of data architecture principles and the ability to build scalable models for marketing and analytics is essential.
Familiarity with marketing data, including CRM, attribution, and campaign performance metrics, is important.
Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language commonly used in data engineering are required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving pipeline issues are necessary.

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$150,000 USD, with pay reflecting the potential contribution and impact of the candidate.
