Description:

Qventus is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong ML Ops focus to build and scale AI-powered healthcare solutions.
The role involves working across the ML lifecycle, including experimentation, feature engineering, deployment, monitoring, and iteration, with an emphasis on productionization and platform reliability.
The engineer will collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and platform partners to design, deploy, and support the infrastructure for production ML and LLM models.
Responsibilities include building and supporting end-to-end ML pipelines, managing ML infrastructure, and contributing to scalable model inference and batch prediction systems.
The position aims to ensure AI systems are reliable and ready for real-world impact, improving healthcare quality and patient outcomes.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining machine learning systems in production environments, specifically with Python and SQL.
A minimum of 1+ years of experience supporting ML Ops infrastructure, including model packaging, orchestration, observability, and CI/CD, is required.
Hands-on experience with model lifecycle tools such as MLflow, SageMaker, or similar is necessary.
Familiarity with operationalizing LLMs or retrieval-augmented generation systems and exposure to LLM frameworks and libraries is preferred.
A strong understanding of software engineering principles and the ability to write maintainable, modular code is essential.
Practical experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch), Databricks, Spark, and Terraform is required.
Strong collaboration and communication skills are necessary to work closely with product, clinical, and engineering stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is between $170,000 and $200,000, with compensation determined by location, skills, qualifications, and prior experience.
