Description:
Serve Robotics is seeking a Senior ML Engineer specializing in Embodied AI to develop reliable sidewalk autonomy software.
The role involves pioneering the development of embodied intelligence for robotics, enabling generalization across various environments and embodiments.
Responsibilities include inventing and improving data-driven paradigms for embodied intelligence using multiple modalities such as images, video, point clouds, text, and audio.
The engineer will create impactful solutions to enhance human-robot interaction through embodied intelligence.
Collaboration with ML infrastructure engineers is required to assess model performance and develop innovative solutions for generalization capabilities.
The position also involves working with various teams to understand real-world problems and define tasks for ML products.
Requirements:
A Master's degree with 5 years of industry experience or a PhD with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience focused on embodied intelligence, AR/VR, or robotics in an end-to-end learning framework is required.
Candidates must demonstrate leadership in scientific efforts with contributions to top-rated conferences and journals.
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, as well as computational data science libraries, is necessary.
Proficiency in using large-scale datasets and sensor data, including various transformer architectures and diffusion models, is required.
A deep understanding of computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning concepts is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable working with SQL queries and ETL logic for data ingress.
Strong programming skills for writing efficient and robust code are required.
Experience with multiple sensors such as Lidar, Mono/Stereo cameras, and IMU is necessary.
Strong communication skills are essential for this role.
