Remote Senior Mobile Application Developer

Description:

• The role involves developing mobile applications that create value for Centric’s growing base of fast-moving consumer products companies.
• Applications will integrate with Centric Software’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) cloud solution, enhancing the mobile user experience.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering product features for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• The developer will maintain and improve the quality of existing applications and provide feedback and guidance on development projects.
• Collaboration with iOS and Android teams is essential to ensure cross-platform compatibility.

Requirements:

• A BS Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience in mobile application development with React Native, iOS, or Android is necessary.
• At least 2 years of experience developing mobile applications with React Native is required.
• Candidates must have working knowledge of XML, JSON, APIs, and Material Design.
• Proficiency in cross-platform mobile application development using React Native is essential.
• Understanding of iOS App Deployment in the App Store and Android App Deployment in the Google Play store is required.
• Experience in designing apps for various device form factors is necessary.
• Previous work experience in an Agile environment is preferred.
• Strong adaptive problem-solving skills and sound software design principles are required.
• Effective communication skills at all levels, from development to executive level, are essential.
• Experience with mobile client-side databases like MongoDB, SQLite, Couchbase, or Realm is required.
