Description:

The role involves developing mobile applications that create value for Centric’s rapidly growing base of fast-moving consumer products companies.
Applications will integrate with Centric Software’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) cloud solution, providing users with a great mobile user experience.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering product features as a Software engineer working on mobile applications for different platforms including iOS and Android.
The developer will maintain and improve the quality of existing applications and provide feedback and guidance for development projects on the team.
Collaboration with the iOS and Android teams is required to ensure cross-platform compatibility.

Requirements:

A BS Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering or equivalent is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with mobile applications development using React Native, iOS, or Android.
A minimum of 2+ years developing mobile applications with React Native is necessary.
Working knowledge of XML, JSON, APIs, and Material Design is required.
Proficiency in cross-platform mobile applications development environment using React Native is essential.
Understanding of iOS App Deployment in the App Store and Android App Deployment in the Google Play store is needed.
Experience in designing apps for different device form factors is required.
Previous work experience in an Agile environment is necessary.
Strong adaptive problem-solving skills are essential.
Candidates must demonstrate sound software design principles, with the ability to create error-free, easily readable, documented software.
The ability to clearly and effectively communicate at all levels from development to executive level is required.
Experience working with mobile client-side databases like MongoDB, SQLite, Couchbase, or Realm is necessary.
