Description:

Luxury Presence is seeking a Senior Mobile Automation Engineer (React Native) to maintain and evolve their mobile team automation framework.
The role involves developing and executing automated test cases for mobile applications using Maestro and maintaining the E2E CI/CD pipeline in MacStadium and Github actions.
The engineer will champion the QA process within the Polaris group, fostering a collaborative quality-first mindset across engineering teams.
Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, reporting and managing bugs, and staying updated with mobile automation technologies.
The technology stack includes Maestro, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, React Native, GraphQL, Apollo, Node, Typescript Microservices, Postgres, AWS, Kubernetes, and Lambda.
The position is fully remote and targeted at candidates located in Latin America.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in QA Automation and at least 2+ years of experience with QA automation tools such as Maestro, Detox, Playwright, or Appium.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI) and programming languages like Javascript or React Native is required.
Candidates should demonstrate eagerness to learn, extreme curiosity, and the ability to work independently.
Strong ownership of the QA process and the ability to engage engineers in quality initiatives is essential.
Hands-on experience testing mobile devices (Android, iOS) and a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes are necessary.
Knowledge of QA concepts like Page Object Model and Test Pyramid, along with experience leading a QA project within a squad, is required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
