Remote Senior Mobile Developer (iOS)

Description:

• The Senior Mobile Developer (iOS) will focus on designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, user-centric iOS applications for Paxful’s global platform.
• This role requires expertise in iOS development, a passion for creating seamless user experiences, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• You will play a critical role in enhancing Paxful’s mobile ecosystem, contributing to feature development, performance optimization, and app scalability.
• Responsibilities include designing and developing native iOS applications, collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, writing clean and maintainable Swift code, optimizing app performance, debugging and troubleshooting issues, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
• You will stay updated with the latest iOS frameworks and tools, integrate backend APIs, develop unit and UI tests, implement CI/CD pipelines, support advanced features like blockchain integration, and collaborate with QA for testing and bug resolution.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in iOS application development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C is required.
• A deep understanding of iOS frameworks and tools such as UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, Combine, and Foundation is necessary.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs is essential, along with the ability to integrate backend services into the iOS app.
• Knowledge of mobile design patterns and architecture, including MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture, is required.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and testing frameworks, including experience with Fastlane, XCTest, and TestFlight, is necessary.
• Strong debugging and performance profiling skills, with familiarity with Xcode Instruments and other profiling tools, are required.
• Recommended skills include knowledge of cryptography and blockchain-related mobile integrations, familiarity with mobile security best practices, experience with analytics and tracking tools, and contributions to open-source iOS projects.
