The Engineering department focuses on creating user-friendly business management and compliance products that increase revenue in the cannabis industry.
The Senior Mobile Engineer will design, build, and deliver high-quality solutions that help customers run their businesses while balancing technical debt, speed of delivery, security, and scalability.
The role involves mentoring and providing design and code reviews to the technical team.
Ideal candidates should be curious, experienced in system design, and comfortable discussing technical subjects with various stakeholders.
Candidates should have experience in Swift/iOS/macOS development, React Native, Golang, GraphQL, REST backends, and hardware integrations.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining mobile applications, making architectural decisions, collaborating with designers and product managers, managing product roadmaps, writing clean code, ensuring application performance, and participating in Agile processes.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience in Swift/iOS/iPad/macOS software development and React Native or cross-platform mobile work.
Proficiency in working with Golang, GraphQL, and REST backends is required.
Ideal skills include Typescript, UIKit, Electron, Xcode, Interface Builder, and Auto Layout.
Candidates should understand App Store deployment, provisioning, and certificate management.
Experience with integrating third-party SDKs, particularly for hardware integrations like printers and barcode scanners, is necessary.
A background in retail or point of sale software development is preferred.
Candidates should be passionate about making an impact in the cannabis industry and possess strong problem-solving skills without over-engineering solutions.
The role is open to candidates within the United States, excluding those in CA, NY, or WA.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $135,000 to $190,000 per year, plus equity.
