Description:

The Senior Mobile Engineer will lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver seamless and efficient solutions.
The engineer will mentor junior developers, providing guidance and sharing best practices in mobile development.
Responsibilities include optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a smooth user experience across diverse devices and OS versions.
The engineer will conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and reliability.
Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance mobile offerings is essential.
Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a timely manner is part of the job.
Participation in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from concept and design to rapid prototyping, testing, and deployment, is required.
The engineer will contribute to the architecture and technical direction of mobile platforms.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in mobile app development, including 3+ years focused on React Native, with hands-on experience building and scaling consumer-facing apps from initial launch to significant user adoption.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including familiarity with modern TypeScript libraries and tooling, is required.
Experience in developing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, as well as shipping React Native apps on the web, is necessary.
A solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with back-end services is essential.
Knowledge of WebSockets, offline storage, and performance tuning is required.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks is necessary.
Familiarity with native build tools (Xcode for iOS, Android Studio for Android) and native modules is required.
Knowledge in AI, ML, and experience with LLMs and SD is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced remote team environment are essential.
