Description:
Cloudflare is seeking a seasoned sales professional for the Senior Named Account Executive position focused on the Federal market, specifically the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The role involves developing and executing a comprehensive account/territory plan and driving sales to achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities include managing contract negotiations, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and developing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
The ideal candidate should have a sales and technical background to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical buyers.
The position is remote, with a preference for candidates in the DC Metro area.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience selling technical solutions or products to the DHS is required.
Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles is essential.
A basic understanding of computer networking and how the internet works is necessary.
Candidates should have an aptitude for learning technical concepts and terms; a technical background in engineering, computer science, or Management Information Systems (MIS) is a plus.
Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills are required.
The candidate must be self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Experience selling to the Federal customer base is preferred.
