Remote Senior .NET Backend Developer

Description:

• We are looking for an experienced Developer with strong experience in the .NET ecosystem to work remotely from anywhere in Latin America.
• You will work in a collaborative environment, building complex web-based enterprise applications for a leading, fast-growing US-based SaaS company.
• Your role will involve bringing solutions to complex problems and sharing your expertise in architecture, design, development, and testing best practices and methodologies.
• Responsibilities include completing programming of assigned software components for on-time delivery, which will include SQL, CLR, ASP.NET, and Windows Services.
• You will participate in development discussions to collaborate on approach, functionality, look, and feel.
• Providing technical input on architecture and design for new features, focusing on scalable and high-performance solutions is expected.
• Conducting testing on assigned components and maintaining technical documentation as required are part of the job.
• You will collaborate with the team to resolve issues, maintain open communication, and provide updates.
• Mentoring and supporting junior developers by sharing best practices, reviewing code, and guiding troubleshooting efforts is also a key responsibility.
• You will take ownership of system reliability, actively contributing to monitoring, performance optimization, and issue resolution to ensure uptime and quality.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years of proven experience with web technologies, databases, and object-oriented programming is required.
• Strong English skills are necessary for this position.
• Extensive experience with hands-on design and development with the .NET platform is essential.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET is required.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server is mandatory.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch and Redis is expected.
• Knowledge of software architecture is required.
• Experience with object-oriented design and development, including strong working knowledge and experience with various architectural and design patterns, is necessary.
• Experience with microservices is required.
• You should have experience engineering highly reliable and scalable production systems while leading associated technical teams.
• Soft skills include successfully completing multiple projects in an Agile environment that includes offshore team members.
• You must be a problem-solver, able to follow a methodical approach, and possess strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with customer business and technology stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Azure technologies and CI/CD pipelines and best practices is a plus.
