The company serves a 105 billion dollar US local restaurant business and is headquartered in NYC and Tel-Aviv.
The team consists of seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product, and operations executives with decades of restaurant tech experience.
The company is looking for a senior/lead level backend engineer to join their R&D team remotely.
This position will report directly to the VP of R&D and is fully remote based in Europe.
Responsibilities include working with the CTO and Tech Leaders to design and execute the product roadmap, developing new product features, mentoring developers, performing code reviews, and participating in architecture and design decisions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of hands-on C#/.NET backend development experience at product companies.
Proven experience in e-commerce or adjacent fields or projects is required.
A start-up mindset with a “can do anything” approach is essential.
Expertise in API integrations with complex software projects is necessary.
High proficiency in working with non-relational databases, specifically MongoDB, is required.
A strong understanding of scalable architecture design, microservices, and serverless technologies is needed.
Experience with backend monitoring and performance measurement tools is important.
Candidates should be team players with great communication skills.
A passion for great designs, code quality, user experience, and performance is expected.
Good writing and verbal skills in English are required.
